Buffalo Wild Power

There are a couple of ways to get Wilds thrown across the reels in Buffalo: The Wild Power, and both come through Respin features tied to their own Scatter symbol. The slot itself is a 5-reel, 4-row wildlife game with 40 paylines, a western theme – canyon walls, dry grassland, a banjo-driven soundtrack – and betting that goes from 0.40 up to 500 per spin.

The Buffalo Wild is the top-paying symbol at 50x per line of 5, and it also fills in for everything except the Scatter. Below it, the Bear returns 25x for five, followed by Wolf at 12.5x, then Moose, Cougar, Lynx, and Eagle in that order. Card symbols A through 9 are at the bottom of the paytable.

Buffalo Power

When 2 Blue Buffalo Scatters appear on reels 1 and 5, you get a Respin where anywhere from 2 to 20 Wild symbols are placed onto the board at random. These aren’t stacked – they’re dotted around in different positions each time. 20 Wilds would cover all of the grid, though getting a lower number of Wilds is more common.

Wild Power

Landing Green Buffalo Scatters on reels 2, 3, and 4 activates this feature. Instead of individual Wilds, 1 to 5 full columns are converted to Wilds for a single Respin. Even at the lower end, having an entire reel turn Wild has a noticeable effect on payline outcomes, and at 5 columns, it’s the whole grid.

Dual Trigger

Both features can fire on the same spin if every reel has a Scatter on it. When that occurs, a 500x Bonus prize is added to whatever the Respins pay out. Playing a Respin with the Wild Stacks from Wild Power and another with random Wilds from Buffalo Power can lead to some serious cash.
